freelance web developer

We are currently looking for a web developer to work with Simplicity on a freelance basis.

Location: Oxford/Banbury or surrounding areas - virtual/home office based.

The role: Analyze user requirements & work to a brief provided by Simplicity, develop & maintain website architecture (user interface, scripting, middle-tier components, database design) and write code / Determine appropriate architecture & technical solutions / Skills in CSS, e-commerce & server side technologies & internet security / Proficient in web development using JSP, Java, CSS, SSL, XML, XSLT, Java, PHP, (X)HTML / Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL / Flash experience considered favorably / Maintain knowledge of Internet technologies & trends.

Typical activities include: Develop & maintain new or existing dynamic HTML, PHP, ASP, CSS, Java & SQL / Refresh web content to ensure accuracy & timeliness of content / Design & develop relational database systems & their web interfaces / Website optimisation & accessibility / Manage multiple priorities.
